Cleaning
Tips
Start
with the removal of as much excess material as possible by
scrapping, blotting, or vacuuming the spot. This allows for
you to focus attention on the precise matter that is attached
to the fibers.
TYPE
A directions. Saturate
spot with detergent SURE-PASS, allow to set one minute, tamp
vigorously with brush, flush with water and extract or blot
dry. Repeat if necessary.
(Type A stains are: ANTI-FREEZE, ASHES, CANDY, CATSUP, CHOCOLATE,
CLAY-RED, ICE CREAM, INK-WASHABLE, JAM & JELLY, JELLO-GELLATIN,
PAINT-WATER BASE, SOOT, TOOTHPASTE, VASOLINE)

B directions. Moisten spot
with non-volatile solvent INVADE, allow to set for five minutes,
tamp occasionally with tamping brush. Apply detergent, SURE-PASS,
tamp, flush out with water, extract or blot dry. Repeat if necessary.
(Type B stains are: COPY TONER, GLUE-WHITE, HAIR SPRAY, HAND
LOTION, PAINT-LATEX, SUNTAN PRODUCTS, WALLPAPER PASTE, WOOD
PUTTY)

C directions. Moisten spot
with voatile solvent TROPHY and blot with cloth removing as
much as possible. Moisten spot with nonvolatile solvent INVADE,
allow five minutes to set, with occasional agitation using tamping
brush. Flush with detergent SURE-PASS, agitate and extract or
blot dry.
(Type C stains are: ASHPHALT/TAR, FURNITURE STAINS, INK-PERMANENT,
LIPSTICK, MAKE-UP, NAIL POLISH, PAINT-OIL BASE, SHOE POLISH,
TREE SAP, VARNISH)

D directions. Saturate
the spot with detergent SURE-PASS. Allow to set two minutes,
agitate with tamping brush, flush with water. Extract or blot
dry. Follow this with a saturate of acid spotter SURELY or RESTORE,
allow to set two minutes, extract or blot dry.
(Type D stains are: BABY FOOD, CHEESE, EGG, EXCREMENT, GRAVY,
MILK, SALAD DRESSINGS, SEWER WATER, URINE, VOMIT)

E directions. Saturate
the spot with rust remover RUSTLE, RUST-OFF, or NOVEL. , Flush
with water, extract or blot dry. Allow RUSTLE to set a few minutes
before flushing.
Repeat
if necessary until spot is removed.
(Type E stains are: RUST, WATER STAINS)

F directions. Steam the
spot by covering with white towel and applying a steam iron
to the spot. The wax will melt and transfer to the towel. Moisten
the spot with volatile solvent TROPHY, blot dry then saturate
the spot with detergent SURE-PASS allow to set one minute, agitate
with tamping brush, flush with water, extract or blot dry.
(Type F stains are: CRAYON, WAX)

G directions. Mix one ounce
of enzyme cleaner RELIEF in quart of hot water, 120 to 140 degrees,
apply this solution to the spot and cover with warm damp white
towel. Allow this to set for thirty minutes. Flush out with
water, followed by extract or blot dry. Repeat if necessary.
(Type G stains are: BLOOD/BODY FLUID, GRASS STAINS, MUSTARD)

H directions. Use CAUTION
here, test for loss of color in an inconspicuous place first.
Mix one cap of reducing agent APART, into one cup of warm water.
Apply liberally to the spot and cover with cloth for ten minutes.
Flush out with water then extract or blot dry. Repeat if necessary.
(Type H stains are: BETADINE/IODINE)

with LASER, allow to set five minutes, tamping with brush occasionally.
Apply detergent SURE-PASS, tamp, then flush out with water.

area with detergent SURE-PASS working it in with tamping brush.
flush with water and extract or blot dry. Then saturate area
with deodorant ATTEST, followed by extraction or blot dry.
(Type J stains are: MILDEW, ODORS)

K directions. Saturate
the spot with detergent SURE-PASS, allow to set 2 minutes, agitate
with tamping brush, flush with water, extract or blot dry. Apply
acid spotter SURELY or RESTORE to the spot and allow to set
2 minutes, extract or blot dry. If the spot isn't out it may
be a dye, so proceed as follows: Test carpet in an inconspicuous
place for possible loss of color or pattern by saturating a
test spot with dye remover PRESS-IT, covering with a white cotton
or paper towel and apply steam from a steam iron for 30 seconds.
If no color shows on the towel, repeat the same procedure for
15-20 seconds on the spot. Keep towel and spot wet with dye
remover PRESS-IT and move towel on each press. When spot is
removed flush out with water, extract or blot dry.
(Type K stains are: ALCOHOLIC BEV, BARK, BEER, COLA, MEDICINES,
SOY SAUCES, TEA, TOMATO JUICE, YELLOW STAINS)

L directions. Test carpet
in a inconspicuous place for possible loss of color or pattern
by saturating a test spot with dye remover PRESS-IT, covering
with a white cotton or paper towel and apply steam or a steam
iron for 10-20 seconds. If no color shows on the towel, repeat
the same procedure for 15-20 seconds on the spot. Keep towel
and spot wet with dye remover PRESS-IT and move towel on each
press. When spot is removed flush out with water, extract or
blot dry.
(Type L stains are: BERRIES, FOOD DYES, FRUIT JUICE, KOOL-AID,
SOFT DRINKS, WINE)

M directions. Remove excess
gum with scraper, punch holes in remaining gum spot and apply
gum remover EXCLUDE, KRUSH-SOLV, or KRUSH-GEL and allow 2 minutes.
Extract with hot water or remove with damp cloth. When you can
no longer see any material, saturate area with detergent SURE-PASS,
agitate with bone scraper, flush with water, extract or blot
dry.
(Type M stains are: GUM)

N directions. Moisten cloth
with d'limonene spotter KRUSH-SOLV, KRUSH-GEL, or EXCLUDE and
blot lightly, keeping the adhesive or varnish wet so that it
will be slowly absorbed into the cloth. When you can no longer
see any on the material, saturate area with detergent SURE-PASS,
agitate with bone scraper, flush with water, extract or blot
dry.
(Type N stains are: ADHESIVES, CEMENT-MODEL)

O directions. On reoccurring
spots simply reclean with appropriate procedure. Cover spot
with a clean towel, and weight it down until dry. The spot that
comes back simply absorbs into the towel and leaves the carpet
clean.

P directions. To treat
an unknown spot, apply volatile solvent TROPHY to a clean cloth
and blot the stain, observe if soil has transferred to the cloth.
If there is a transfer, moisten the spot with volatile solvent
TROPHY, allow to set for 1 minute, extract or blot dry. If spot
remains, moisten the spot with non-volitle solvent INVADE, allow
to set 3 minutes, agitate lightly with tamping brush, flush
with water, extract or blot dry. If the spot remains, follow
procedure K.
(Type P stains are: UNKNOWN)

the spot with stain resist detergent GENTLE, allow to set for
3 minutes, agitate occasionally with tamping brush, extract
or blot dry.
